Welcome!
The Houck group, led by professor Andrew Houck, investigates new fronts in superconducting quantum computing and quantum simulation. By combining circuit elements like capacitors and inductors with non-linear quantum elements like the Josephson junction, we tackle problems ranging from building a better qubit to understanding the many-body physics of a quantum impurity in a photonic crystal. Check out our research page to learn more about our work, or contact Andrew to inquire about research opportunities in his group.
At Princeton University there is a large number of groups who collaborate together focusing on quantum science and engineering, learn more at https://quantum.princeton.edu.
The Houck Lab is also a proud part of the Co-design Center for Quantum Advantage, one of the five National Quantum Information Science (QIS) Research Centers established by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science.
