Alex
Alex is a fifth year graduate student in the Houck Lab. He builds and studies qubits which are intrinsically insensitive to noise. Alex grew up in Arlington VA and received his B.S. in physics from Caltech. Outside of lab Alex coaches the Degenerate Dopers (the department softball team) and loves many sports, backpacking, skiing, and aspires to build a home out of a shipping container.
