Joshua is a first year graduate student, and is currently investigating quasiparticle tunneling events in superconducting qubits to detect neutrinos and improve qubit coherence times. He primarily grew up in Chandler, Arizona, but is originally from the Philippines. Outside of lab, he enjoys exploring new restaurants, playing hockey, wine tasting, and flying planes.
